Merlin came up with a bunch of questions for those he nominated and my time has come to answer them.

 

1) How did you come up with your blogging name? (yes, I’m stealing that one, mwahah)

When I was young and somewhat interested in the concept of the internet chat room, me and my brother created a word document in which we pretended to be two people who didn’t know each other. He was TRex something, neither of us really remember and I was Shaddowcat. Two D’s. I choose the name because Kitty Pryde, or Shadowcat, was my favorite X-Men character and I liked her name, I just put my own spin on it. I still use the name in a bunch of places across the internet, adding 99 whenever the other is already taken.

2) What do you love most about blogging?

The people! I love interacting with everyone and it is a part of blogging that I never imagined when i use to pretend to do it. Getting to be part of a community of people that all interact with each other in one way or another is the best!

3) What do you hate most about blogging?

M y procrastination tendencies. They can put me under stress unless I manage myself well. I’m not always very good at managing myself, but I try. I love writing the posts though, it’s just trying to write them to post them in the next hour that’s hard.

4) Do you have some favorite blogs to recommend?

Going back to before I was a blogger I followed two blogs one of those was by someone who called herself Little Miss Menopause and writes a blog called Once Upon Your Prime. I find her utterly hilarious!

I’ll shout out to two more today, Kingdylbagblog By Kingdylbag and Wretched and Divine by Rose both of who often offer short little posts with art or pictures, reviews of impressions. Even when i don’t have a lot of time I can still stop in and see what they’ve been up to.

5) Do you have one or three personal favorite posts you’ve written?

This is always so hard. I suppose probably the ones I put the most effort into, my Fullmetal Alchemist comparison posts.

I intend to write more, but I just haven’t had the time with college looming and the fact that I really don’t have a way to watch the 2003 version of the show right now.

I also really like my Natsumi review, which I wrote more as a prose poem.
